Stop being Fooled by so called SEO Gurus in Pakistan 2010/08/28

Few years back there was nobody to teach and train people of Pakistan related to SEO, but now you can see dozens of people are teaching and claiming themself as Gurus of the Pakistani Industry.

Well I know there are few good SEO Trainers and Consultants, one of them is Sir Asif Iqbal, who I’ve seen for years, he’s not only a trainer but has worked in the industry and has real knowledge, whereas there are many people, who have never worked anywhere, nor has got good ranking on Google, and these so called people are making innocent people fooled, they are teaching adsense and saying people that it’s SEO.

Please stop being fooled by these people, first see their own rankings, then see their website, either it’s professional or not, then try to ask some basic questions such as, how they’re learnt SEO, either have they worked anywhere before? which websites they’ve worked on…etc.

What is SEO? 2009/11/25

Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of improving the volume or quality of traffic to an specific website from search engines via “Natural/Organic/Unpaid” search results. Typically, the earlier (or higher) a website appears in the search results list, the more visitors it will receive from the search engine. SEO may target different kinds of search, including image search, local search, video search and industry-specific vertical search engines. This gives a web site web presence.

In short SEO is basically making any website Search Engine Friendly, so is to communicate with Search Engine and be able to get the higher rank on desirable and relevant keywords.

For Example: I’m trying to make this blog on top rank in Google at “SEO Karachi and SEO Pakistan”.

No Change on “SEO Pakistan” but Improvement on “SEO Karachi” 2009/11/25

Well it’s been long time:) since I created this blog and found no change on “SEO Pakistan” but there is a little improvement on “SEO Karachi” we moved to 40th Page now.

Let’s see if we can speed up little more…

Can you see it, it’s not more than 17 hours and we got listed on the 48th Page in Google on the “SEO Pakistan” term.

Let’s see when we get visible at 1st Page.
